ADMISSIONS FOR 2026/27 - NOW OPEN

We are pleased to open up our admissions process for the twenty-first academic session at Preston International School which will commence on Saturday 12th September, 2026. Thanks to all our prospective parents for choosing Preston International School as your child's alma mater. This year, we are again offering both online and physical in-person options for the entrance examinations.

ONLINE ENTRANCE EXAMS

STEP 3: On receipt of your completed form, a member of our team will be in touch with you to provide further guidance and agree a mutually convenient date for your child to write the entrance exam. The portal is now open and exams have started in earnest.

PHYSICAL/IN-PERSON ENTRANCE EXAMS

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

Age: Students must ideally be at least 10 years old before the resumption date.
Class: Pupils must have completed at least Primary five (5) before they can be considered for admission.
Selection Process: Before pupils can be admitted, they must sit and pass a written examination comprising Mathematics, English and General Aptitude. The exams are suitable for international candidates as they do not test local knowledge. Students will also attend a physical or virtual interview for online candidates.
Independence: Pupils must be able to wash their own clothes, look after themselves and keep their belongings safe, clean and tidy.
Health: As a fully residential boarding school, pupils are required to be in a good state of health in order to be able to cope with the demands and requirements of living with minimal support in a boarding school. Therefore, pupils who have conditions which require such special care and attention for which we may not have the facilities or the skills with which to look after them satisfactorily may not be admitted. Failure to declare such health conditions prior to admission being offered may lead to withdrawal of the admission offer at any point in the academic year.
Transfer Students: Students on transfer from other schools are required to produce their transfer certificate / testimonial / letter of recommendation from their previous schools. The school also reserves the right not to admit students who have had a history of poor behaviour in their previous schools irrespective of passing the entrance exams. .
