Spell & Thrill Competition 2016
In the words of the woman with the highest recorded IQ, Marilyn vos Savant; When our spelling is perfect, it's invisible. But when it's flawed, it prompts strong negative associations.
Preston International School showcased it's mental prowess in spelling, by qualifying from the zonal level of the 4th edition of the 'SPELL & THRILL competition yesterday. They were led by the HOD of language department in the school - Mr Felix Jegede, who was so much proud of his tutees.
Nngonase Radiance, Simisola Jentry, Rotifa Oladotun were the three candidates who represented the school, and all made it through gallantly to the next round, winning medals and awarded certificates in the process. Their performance was outstanding amongst over 60 candidates from different schools.
They further qualified at the state level, getting set for the grand finale, and we know they are able to take the school to the zenith point.
