Ss2 Geography Students’ Erin-Ijesa Waterfall Excursion 2017
Ss2 geography students of Preston International School embarked on an excursion to Erin-Ijesha waterfall as part of the subject's academic exposure on Saturday, 7th October, 2017.
On their way to the excursion site, they examined physical features like inselbergs, river owena flow and hills.
At the waterfall site, they observed the waterfall plunge pool and identified the characteristics at each stage of the river flowing from the highland (i.e. mountain).
They ended their day at the Akure shopping mall and explored its social cultural importance to the inhabitants of Akure.
It was really a fun loving outing...
