This year’s inter-house sports competition was one with a difference as students, staff members, parents, invited guest as well as our online audience once again enjoyed this electrifying event filled with palpable excitement.
Teaching and learning pedagogy was taken to a new level at Preston International School, Akure on Monday 14th February as the school’s super-duper Digital Learning Centre (D.L.C.) was commissioned by Mr Sim Shagaya (CEO and Founder of uLesson Education) duly represented by Mr Oladayo Popoola.

The theme for this year’s Christmas Concert was ‘Behold The Star’. At exactly 4.00pm on the dot, the concert was streamed live online as parents and friends of the school joined the whole school community who decided to remain in their ‘bubble’ at this time.
We had our prize-giving event for the 1st term today 17/12/2021 and it was a very beautiful and successful event during which lots of students were rewarded for good behaviour and excellent academic performance and so many other things like achievements for Microsoft training, Olympiad competition, JETS competition etc.
All staff and students of Preston International School had a great Christmas luncheon hosted by the Directors in the school dining hall.
A Prestonian, Master Oluwaseyifunmi Obiyomi, a JSS3 student of Preston International School has emerged the overall best in Ondo State as he gallantly scaled through the three stages of the competition to emerge as the South-West Champion comprising Ekiti State, Lagos State, Ogun State, Ondo State, Osun State, and Oyo State.
Preston International School received the prestigious British Council International School Award on the 26th of November, 2021.
It was again a bright and colourful day as Preston International School hosted its second edition of her biennial International Cultural Day themed: ‘Destination Africa’ on Saturday 13th November, 2021. It began with the chief host, Spencer Ikuru and co-host, Leslie Dodd Peterside anchoring a parade where each house was made to showcase the country they were representing in their own way. Aqua House depicted South Africa; Shekinah House, Morocco; Terra represented Cameroon and Tornado, Kenya.
On the 1st of October 2021, Prestonians joined millions of Nigerians to celebrate the 61st independence anniversary from the colonial masters.
On Monday the 20th of July, 2021, the 11th Prefects Installation Ceremony held at Preston International School in a Spirit-filled and highly inspiring atmosphere. The event was well attended by many of the parents of the newly installed prefects and even our own alumnus Anabel to the delight of her juniors.
