On Friday, 23 October 2026, Preston International School held its Gender Forum under the theme “Understanding Gender: Building Respect and Setting Healthy Boundaries.”

Through dedicated sessions for boys and girls, the programme provided opportunities for meaningful conversations about personal boundaries, mutual respect, responsible choices and character.
We sincerely appreciate our guest speakers: Mrs. Mary Adegbohun, Mrs. Agbakwuru Damaris, Mrs. Akinduro, Mrs. Adereleye and Mrs. Olubejide Kemisola, who facilitated the girls' session; and Mr. Splendor, Mr. Idowu Samuel, Mr. Godwin Ebulubu, Mr. Adeoba and Mr. Favour Adewumi, who addressed the boys.

The programme also featured a Panel Discussion titled “My Body, My Boundaries: Choices, Consequences and Character,” giving students space to ask questions and deepen their understanding.
Special thanks to our Principal and the Counselling Unit for organising this important forum and for continued students’ wellbeing and personal development.

At Preston, we believe education includes helping young people respect themselves and others, recognise healthy boundaries and make informed decisions grounded in strong values.
