The week began with a 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, taking us through memorable milestones and celebrating the people who have contributed to the Preston story.

We then celebrated the power of young voices through the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, where participating schools explored themes centred on the hopes, aspirations and global relevance of the Nigerian child.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲: 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 reminded us that true leadership is rooted in compassion and service, culminating in a memorable Charity Concert.

The celebration continued with a visit to orphanages and an inspiring 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, centred on “𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥.”

Friday brought our 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 — 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰, creating an opportunity for past and present Prestonians to reconnect, share memories and celebrate the enduring Preston bond. 

And then came 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 — 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧!** 𝐎𝐮𝐫 **𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 featured football, basketball and volleyball, bringing together members of the Preston community in the spirit of teamwork, friendship and healthy competition. The matches were officially kicked off by our Proprietor, Dr. Toyin Ajayi, setting the tone for an exciting morning.

The week culminated in our 𝟐𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐞𝐭-𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 & 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, celebrating outstanding contributions through prestigious awards, music, dinner and memorable moments.

From reflection to celebration, from service to sport, from our legacy to the future — 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝟐𝟎 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲.
